Caught loading rifle in back parking lot… normally they have a barrel for that – Everything Law and Order Blog

Daytona beach police: Normally the police department has a barrel that you put the rifle into and from there you do you’re loading there just in case you have an accidental discharge. Most incidents with accidental discharge happen when loading and unloading as you can see here thankfully no accidental discharge.

  1. I've seen this done myself on a ride along. As a firearms instructor red flags went off. It was done quite haphazardly without concern for richochet . Which was odd so nice there dirt available within feet to have the have the rifle pointed into during chambering.
As an RSO I've witnessed countless negligent discharges during unloading/loading. It's a very real issue.

  2. Anytime a public official like LEO's uses their pov for any work related use (in this case loading a dept issue weapon ( using personal ammo?) without regard to public safety) is a big red flag that needs to be investigated. The his body language tells you he knew he got caught breaking department and public safety policy.

  3. Any dude can jump this cop from behind and easily take that gun then use it on the cop then harm innocent civilians. I guess they don’t do a IQ test in police departments

  4. I love when you call them on hypocrisy.

I was waiting for him to even know you were there. He sure was shocked when you coughed. He looked like he was just caught with his pants down lol..

  5. Your title suggests that people use clearing barrels to load firearms. Mostly, that is for unloading and clearing firearms of ammo. Since officers work strange shifts where they might have a stretch of several days off at a time, it should be quite common to move firearms from one car to another. Maybe he went to the range on his own during his time off, instead of relying on the two times a year the dept sends him to the gun range. All I’m saying is… normal. No big deal.

  6. Cop keeping service shotgun in back of personal car = STUPID.. Cop loading shotgun in public behind personal car = DANGEROUS. Cops look on face when caught being STUPID & DANGEROUS = PRICELESS DUMMY.

  7. The former chief of the Victoria BC (canada) police department had his gun stolen from his car. There was a string of bad chiefs here for a while.

  8. And there's the reason LE has the most negligent discharges of all segments of the US population, as familiarity, and lack of consequence breeds contempt! 🙄. I would have asked is that your department issue patrol rifle? Hint to bad guys, want cool guns? Hang out by the cop shop and watch what goes home with who… smh..🤨

  9. When this channel first went up, it was showing some things that needed to be pointed out/challenged.
Now you are just picking on stupid stuff. I’m not sure if it’s because you are really that much of an ass or if you are low on content.
Recording a police officer pointing a weapon in a safe direction to exercise the bolt, and claiming he’s doing something egregious just makes you look stupid.
