Since she was working for the trump campaign, it was clear that she was trying to steal the election in 2020. This is why trump has now been indicted on 71 criminal charges, most of them felonies. Otero is a perfect example of why it's so important to vote. These low-level elected officials can do massive damage to out democracy.

Every elected official needs to have some group overseeing the running of these offices, with the teeth do do something when an obvious breach of protocol has been found. The safest way is ti write it into a legally binding contract which lays out the job requirements the hours of employment and the rights of the overseeing group to issue reprimands and most importantly the firing and reelection of any post that the oversight committee has adjudicated.
