Cop Arrested in Full Uniform Before Shift – Everything Law and Order Blog

@Copwatchtv obtained body camera footage from an incident involving an Albuquerque Police Officer who was on his way to work in his fully marked police unit.

While he was driving to work, he was going well over 100MPH and swerving in lanes of traffic. A New Mexico State Police officer observed these driving behaviors and pulled the APD officer over. The New Mexico State Police officer soon could smell alcohol on the officers person.

APD Officer Jordan Hernandez has been with the department for 3 years and is currently being investigated within his department for this incident and his trial is pending.

  1. We’re all human and make mistakes…but some choose to sign up for jobs where they imprison people for making mistakes, and thus when they make the same mistakes it becomes unacceptable…

  2. Alcoholism is a nasty bastard, I've watched it destroy a lot of lives. Damn shame he had to go down this way, but he can't be wearing the uniform like this. Respect to the trooper for doing the right thing even when it really sucks. This is integrity.

  3. I know he was Liquored BUT Those Road Side (Subjective) Tests should be a thing of the Past! Pitch Dark a Gale of Wind on a Busy Highway! Everyone is Gonna Fail this! Im walking on my Imaginary sorry its not as Straight as Yours! Absolutel Madness doing those tests in those Conditions

  4. I know we're quick to hammer the APD officer for his bad decisions but lets give him credit where it's due for not pulling the "do you know who I am", or "you're really going to do this to a fellow officer" routine. We don't see this much with cop vs cop arrests.

  5. The same FST script every cop does word for word gets annoying, but imagine being a cop and knowing that script word for word and having it said to you

  6. I think there should be enhanced charges for him being in full uniform with the ability to interact with people and do great harm to people ontop of him being in a fully dressed squad car….They get some many other perks and benifits for being a cop but only the goods of it,never the bad…WE NEED TO COMPLETELY REDUE OUR JUSTICE SYSTEM AND WHO WE HIRE AS OFFICERS TO PROTECT US…..

  7. They still take you to jail if you pass so you Midaswell refuse all test and request an ambulance due to chest pain.

  8. Don’t do field sobriety tests. They aren’t required, they are 100% subjective, and they are only used to arrest you. They are never used to find you innocent.
