Job well done
This cop used evey ounce of his self conrol he could muster. He wanted to tase and abuse this cameraman and charge him with obstruction. I almost (almost) felt bad at the way he was spanked and humbled. It was only the righ thing, though. True Tyrant Slayer.
I believe that if they want to act like the blue line gang, 'have a good night' is to good for them, rather telling them to 'have the night they deserve' will possibly make them think about what they are doing especially if things get tougher. If they they are bringing deep blue line gang attitude, telling them to 'have a QUIET night' can really get under their skin. Both are non threatening, and many times complementary to a 'reasonable' person.
That brought a tear to my eye, remind the POSP who those sorry a-holes work for!

That area near the street had nothing to do with the actual crime scene. Sad that cops are so paranoid about cameras. I'm sure there's cameras all around the building.

great job showing no wrong doing on the part of the cop, but claiming there was. Wonderful method of maintaining animosity against cops: unfounded accusations.
Since you didn't roll the camera, I can only assume that there's a reason you don't want the camera to show. Obviously, that reason is that the cop did his job properly and rightly. Otherwise, you wouldn't have refused the camera evidence of it. Just like cops who "lose" their bodycam footage did so on purpose, you "lost" your footage on purpose.

Suggestion, cop was lying about extending the crime tape. Ask cops: Are you speaking the truth under God? I can tell when someone is lying. I had special training with the FBI or ____special course in body language.
This "crime scene" tape is somewhat reminiscent of the so called gun free zones enforced by signs only. Unless there are actually people who are enforcing it, it means literally nothing.
Well done for exposing the negligence of this police department. And also for exposing the stupidity and selfishness of the drunk idiots crossing past the tape.
