Cops fired and sentenced to prison! Was this justice? Others suspended

1. Splashing is ok, throwing stuff is not. Is that excessive jail time? I don’t know. What would the judge do to anyone else? Should they be cops? No, they definitely don’t hold themselves to a higher standard.

17. Personally IMHO anyone in law enforcement should be held to a higher standard than non law enforcement civilians. If assault with a weapon is 2 to 5 years for civilians it should be 5 to 10 years for bad cops. And they did comment assault with a weapon, by this i mean they turn a simple soda into a weapon by throwing them at these people

26. This is what we get when cops are hire from the bottom of the barrel of our society. The hiring standards for cops are virtually nonexistent. These are individuals reliving their high school bully days.

31. Not surprising that only 2 were fired and jailed…and not surprising on the light sentence on the 1 with just 3 months. Also not surprising ALL the other people involved … and when this was going on they were announcing it over their communications, so every cop on that police force knew… also not surprising that ALL the other people involved faced no firing and no charges, though they should all be fired and charged.

    What is surprising is the firing and jail sentence for 2 of them. Usually the "system" covers for bad and psychopathic cops, because the "system" is also bad and psychopathic!

32. If they weren't living the street life, this would never happen to them. We're masters of our own destiny. Most people in any profession develop a hatred for their problematic work environment. Don't be so sanctimonious. Everybody displays hatred to a certain degree. After all, lighten up… boys will be boys.

33. Police only arrest and fire other cops over personal vendettas when it's opportune. It's never about justice.

36. Nothing shocking. I watch these videos every day, and I almost expect cops to always behave like this now.

37. I believe Freeman said that they weren't even fired over this, but instead were allowed to resign.

    So they will just go to another department to be hired like nothing happened.
