16. The library manager advised , that the building was privately owned (Association)-If this disclosure was true then Jason and son should have requested permission to conduct their boring video activity -which of course he didn't.
    If he just shut the fuck up for 5 minutes then maybe he would have understood what she was saying.She was very polite, courteous and exceedingly patient .

35. I work in a library in Canada, and all I can say, is that it is a privacy issue. Especially when it comes to children and the rights of parents to have themselves and their kids filmed. Also, there is private information held on the library computers to do with patron records, like addresses, phone numbers, names, emails, etc.. it's part of the job to protect patron's privacy from being leaked or used by someone else, that's why she is probably very particular about you guys filming.

    There are policies in place to protect the rights of our patrons, and to go around filming like that, is breaching policy. She has the right to know why your filming and to be concerned. Please respect the rights of children and others when you enter libraries, we are just doing our jobs and providing a community space for the public.

    I came here after seeing your filming of that woman having a seizure on the ground, after being dumped by the hospital staff and police, and I respect that aspect of your journalism, and I would like to see more of your heroism in that regard. Please do more videos like that one. The world needs more kindness. Thank you.
