  1. Shocked that a cop that fat, who clearly has no pride or professionalism in his job physically or knowledgeably doesn't know the most basic common law

  2. This Sheriff has no political or situational control. Just ask yourself, how much easier would it have been to say – yes, we'll look into it and address the pertinent elements with Nance. Why cops are fighting so hard to gloss over basic failures I don't get. By looking into it – maybe realizing there is a training shortfall or similar – you can address it and be better off for it. Maybe even get additional funding for training. But no – the comeback is he should've arrested him for disorderly conduct and yeah, my deputies are out of control…..why are you committing professional suicide on the phone – when it's entirely avoidable? I know why – hubris.

  3. Spoke to a manager at the theatre just now. She was super friendly and apologetic about the entire situation. She started the trespass did not come from the theater but the mall ("entertainment district") itself. Ironically enough the mall management has been on vacation the past week.

If you call these places, remember the other part is a person first. She was very friendly and willing to talk.

  4. You can learn an awful lot about a person, if you give them a little authority…. Even if it’s just perceived authority..

  5. Police love to tell you why they’ve been called. It’s a cool story they have but doesn’t help the situation.

  6. James, I dunno…

This is poor behavior by everyone involved.
Private business tells you to leave? Go. Be as upset/disappointed as you like, but go quietly.
Security acts the fool? Fine, call management and complain. DO NOT GO CONFRONT THEM IN PERSON.
And surely, do not allow your husband to go and confront them.

Security was justified to call the police AND to have the husband removed from the property.

LEO's are trained to request ID from every person. They're told it's lawful to ask. AND they're told it's lawful to lie to the public. It's only natural to assume that those 3 things are being combined into "everyone must ID by law". Qualified Immunity means there's no reason to change their behavior.

  7. Did that bloated clownboy swallow all the donuts off a donut delivery van. Look at the size of that bloated tyrant And he is the one that is going to keep us safe

  8. Thank you so much James! After that day I was angry, stressed, and embarrassed for losing my temper. But me and my family talking with you honestly did help alot and you honestly went above and beyond in looking into this. God bless you and thank you so much!

  9. Under threat of arrest doesn't mean shit in court. Once you give your ID it's a voluntary decision regardless of what you say.
