The city's trying to save its taxpayers money. Read me the result will be jobs lost but at least be intellectually honest with what you're saying.
I know alot of them.
I know what there going through
You must understand that no loyalty exist when it comes to saving money. The loss of human livelihoods means nothing, workers are mere sacrificial lambs offered up on the altar of greed and avarice. This was already a done deal before it became public and you're only mistake was in thinking it could be stopped or they gave a hoot or that it mattered to the powers that be,whose only concern is self preservation and whatever it takes.
What's your email @James
I guess they should apply at Waste Pro.
You can't hold government to a contract
I am a 4th generation Floridian. Never thought I'd leave, but I can take the cold of the midwest easier than I can take the greed. People moving to Florida are like a Biblical plague. Like a swarm of locusts… "And still, they came."
Where I live the residents pick 1 of six companies to pick up their trash… Competition keeps the price reasonable and the the city does not have to manage trash pickup… The down side in my neighbor hood, none of the companies pickup on the same day…
I have seen em out on the corners getting the message out. That sucks.
Check 'League of Cities' Florida (search: 'solid waste'). https://floridaleagueofcities.com
All the cities right now seem to be using garbage and recycling pick up for their own money making I noticed. Some have cut back pick-up from twice a week to once a week pick-up with not any discount to the citizens.
great video
Edgewater is another Florida town with a corrupt city government.
Union? Who pays now? Will price come down? How will it improve pension outlook?
DAMN IT I MISSED IT
