The ridiculous abuse of power. Its not surprise that “law enforcement” officers have no concept of the laws they are sworn to uphold. If i pitched outside of the lomita sheriffs station, near the gate where deputies drive in and out in their personal cars, what do you want to bet….8 out of 10 cars are tinted. The fact is, in California your window tint on your front driver and passenger windows have to be 70%VLT. Tint comes in a all shades and transparencies. Easy way to resolve an accusation and threat of a tint ticket, is by using a “tint checker”. I have never once seen a los Angeles sheriff deputy test ANY of the 100s of vehicles they pull over for TINT.
HEY DEPUTY AGOSTINO: DO ALL OF US A FAVOR, AND READ UP ON OUR RIGHT TO TRAVEL. THE LAW BOOK IS 12″ DEEP you pull someone over, you could close your eyes, point your finger and drop it anywhere on the law book and that can be you “reason for pulling someone over”. It is a bad way of policing….
ANOTHER POINT I WANT TO MAKE: I’m not saying i do or do not have tint on my windows, but lets say hypothetically I do, the most obvious benefit is the security that comes with knowing someone walking by can’t see what is in your car. I’ll leave it at that.

Ignorance of the law isn't an excuse.its ur responsibility to know if something is out. G.O.A.L is something most commercial drivers are required to do before even starting the vehicle. Just saying u sound butthurt when u shouldn't be. Getting pulled over for a light being out is a legit reason. Don't give them any excuse.

What happen to Fixing tickets
We all know that cops don't like tinted windows because they like to see how dark skinned the driver is (or how young they are) for profiling purposes. Younger and Black & Brown ethnicity get hauled over for so-called random stops way out of proportion to their demographic in the overall population. Cops need non-tinted glass to discriminate more efficiently in traffic.
Pretextual stops are a common strategy used to violate people's Constitutional Rights that law enforcement has used for decades. The justice system turns its cheek to this type of illegal behavior from law enforcement along with a lot of other things. This is just the tip of the iceberg.

Tint is illegal when the law considers it an obstruction of view for the driver… Typically back windows don't even have to be there so they can be tinted
