Ran into the Inglewood police offices we recorded with Denise Lynn last month- they remembered her and I and of course Daniel. Then I met a couple new to me officers, one of which has Daniel at the top of his topic list. I told him, like I saw it, Inglewood pd has been chill the past couple times I’ve recorded them, and I 100% credit Daniel for their positive behavior….that didn’t sit well, with 1 of the officers, so he begged to differ and claimed, they have trained Daniel – hahahahahha, yeah, ok….whatever helps you sleep at night.

This is why I keep pushing Laura in front of my camera and into my videos. Watched all of it and paid close attention. Editing was flawless. Extracting usable content and comments from the people in front of the camera is one place Laura shines. I have seen police on her side of town be reluctant to comment and it doesn't stop her from recording a great conversation at their expense. I read through most of the comments here and not sure if people are missing it or just didn't bring it up. I could say more and I am sure I will but for now just going to say great video Laura.

"we do our best to abide by policies" – so he willfully has chosen to ignore and snub his nose at it, if he's willing to violate the little policies, why wouldn't he feel empowered enough to violate the larger ones, using their own logic with "broken windows policing" it would suggest this officer is at risk for greater violations than the ones we caught him performing… P.S. that officer had no idea who you were, he only knows "these camera people are putting us online" so he fished your name out, next time make them sweat it and don't tell…
I hesitate to call it training, only that they now have realized that some citizens might try to stand up for their rights. Without the camera they still treat everyone as if there was no constitution. Citizen journalists are the last vestige of actual freedom. (Sorry, optimism isn't my thing)
