Heard over the radio, I man called claiming to have been assaulted after a minor car accident. Everyone involved stayed on scene…I got there 5+mins before LAPD finally responded. The men accused of the assault were spanish speaking and a spanish speaking officer was requested….25+mins later a female Sergeant arrived- gave me a “thumbs up” and began talking to the men…..A LOT OF TALKING….these guys, even as immigrants, have the same rights as americans born here in the US-THEY DON’T HAVE TO TALK EITHER! I need to make signs….anyone who speaks languages other then English or Spanish let me know how to say/write “YOU HAVE RIGHTS, DON’T ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS”

You know it's kind of dumb for people to ask you not to record. Because when you think about it even if you didn't have a camera and you were just standing on the street you are still recording it in your mind so what's the difference? If I saw a violent crime and a cop asked me if I saw anything I would say, "No." Especially if I saw a cop committing brutality. I would be a witness for the person in which the cop committed brutality. By the way, you always tell us not to talk to cops. The town where I live has a reputation of putting a suspect in a police car, driving them to the station and then beating the hell out of them if you do not cooperate. I have seen people in the past come home with black eyes after being at the police station so people are scared to stand up to the police here. One time I saw a cop make an arrest and the suspect asked the cop if he was going to read him his Miranda rights and the cop told him he was watching too much TV and to get in the car. I have seen a cop wipe prints off a rifle that was used in a crime so the person wouldn't get in trouble. One of the judges in out country courthouse has a son that lives in the same town I do and he is nothing but a druggie and a drug dealer and everyone knows it but he never gets in trouble. Yet his father the judge has the audacity to sentence someone in his courtroom for doing the same things his son does. That is how corrupt this area is. And people are too afraid to say anything. I can't wait to move which hopefully I'll be doing in the near future. I can just imagine what would happen if someone in this town would do the same thing you are doing.
Just called the LAPD twice. First time the guy acted like he couldn't hear me. 2nd time was a variance of 3 f'n minutes…he also tried to make me feel guilty for taking his time. These guys are STILL shit!!! 3 minute variance? I can see 3 seconds, maybe 30 seconds but 3 minutes WOW they are f'd!!!
