Meza has been an ass since the night his partner hunter told him to put the spot light on me: violating my 1st amendment right to record…(the night before the lapds finiest vs female cop watcher video). I didn’t care he kept his back to me in all my vids, till last night when he had to open his mouth, furthering the childish rumor going around harbor division that I “hate the police” which is such bullshit….now Officer Chandler is new to me….but first impression- he’s going to be a pill too….
IF LAPD HARBOR DIVISION WOULD JUST BE RESPECTABLE POLICE OFFICERS, who were not “annoyed” or what ever the fuck their problem is with me exercising my 1st amendment right, I wouldn’t make such a point to record there so often….

So the call was a disturbance at Jack in the Box? Why were they knee deep in their car, trunk, and backpacks? Break it up and go away. That's all that needed to happen. As long as LAPD keeps this up and people keep allowing it, we will be there to educate and document their hatred for the camera and incitement between the people. Police like to blame photographers for making them look bad, but we can't make anyone look bad by standing by with a camera. Your behavior is your choice. Own your own shit. The solution is easy. Conduct yourself the way you want to be perceived by others. You don't want to look like an a$$, don't be one.
Whenever I see people in L.A. getting handcuffed, they act like it's no big deal…. What the hell is in the water down there?….speeding(handcuffed), jaywalking(handcuffed), tailight-out(handcuffed and searched)..smh
A reasonable person could infer that the police are inciting a retaliatory action against you by the civlians being detained, by asking them if they want to be filmed. The implication is clear.

you get a lot of info for what little conversation you apply. that is working for you and it shows patience. the part about people stressed that they are being recorded is a touchy thing. when they are drunk nothing needs to be said. I have noticed in the past Dan is very good at reassuring folks right away that it's to their benefit with very little said.
