Original Video

New Mexico State University Law Student Joel Martinez calmly OWNS two manipulative sneaky cops from the college police department. Eventually they end up violating his rights under threat, but he makes sure that they articulate their threats first, opening them up to a law suit. Qualified immunity was abolished in New Mexico two years ago.

  1. 23:16 when the cop specifically admits that the ID request is not an element of the investigation, but to fulfill a clerical purpose was, was pure gold.

  2. The "KKK" is alive & well in the USA.👮👮‍♂🧟‍♂🧟👻💩💩🤡🤡👹👹👿👿

  3. "If you want to go down that route, we can."

Yes, that is exactly the route we should all want to go down. Because that route is fraught with hazards and pitfalls for bad cops who don't respect our rights. That route protects us and makes life infinitely harder for them. As soon as they drop that line on you, put that reality right on their heads.

"In that case, the easiest way to prevent this…"

…is to waive your rights. And never, ever, EVER do that.

"This is entirely up to you, how to play this."

Of course it is, because the power is in his hands, not the cops' hands. He knows what protections he has, and that the cops are powerless in the face of them. And it is B-E-A-utiful!

  4. A law enforcement officer who doesn't know every legality within the realm he enters is not a law enforcement officer at all but is impersonating an officer and a threat to society! OORAH

  5. This happened to me twice in the last week. Same cop
First one I was walking listening to headphones and a "call about a robbery came in 'nearby' "

Stopped & held me for over an hour, said I was detained numerous times. (No charges OR suspected of a crime, I verbally confirmed)

Conveniently his body cam was charging

I said that's fine, I'll record myself. We then proceeded to wrestle over my phone but he took it, & illegally searched me.

Like this young man, I only gave him my first name (I'm from a different state so he couldn't possibly ID me)

Never gave him ID either time, just kept putting my hands out for him to arrest me.

He wasn't AS BIG of a hoe the 2nd time, when we were both recording, shockingly.

I left out many details but, be glad to know I made him look so dumb, then even dumber when the sheriff got there.

I walk 3-6 miles every night. If he bugs me again, I'm filing a complaint or suit. Sick of the harassment. Unfortunately outside of 4 states, they all have qualified immunity.

  6. 1:26 – I've seen this guy's vid before.
What I found interesting is the asking permission to search the dorm room.
It was my understanding that searches of dorm rooms are lawful, I guess if school admin is asked.
But as soon as cops would want to go into things, like backpacks, drawers, and suitcases, then they would need the student's permission or a warrant.
Similar to a suspect being inside a hospital. If hospital admin grants cops permission to search a room, then it's okay. But as soon as cops would want to look inside something of the suspect, then they would need their permission or a warrant.
    I could be wrong though.

  7. This guys a piece of shit. The cops job is hard enough and he’s making it harder. He’s a worthless entitled fuck.
    Liberal fucks

  8. Just wanted to say THANK YOU, James. Your work is invaluable! THIS is a WONDERFUL example of if there’s NO QUALIFIED IMMUNITY, there’s SIGNIFICANT reduction in appetite to violate rights, lie, falsely imprison, & SO MUCH MORE! Lobby & Protest in your state ASAP to get qualified immunity ABOLISHED in your state!

  9. Police people have low intelligence!
If not for the expendable narcissistic police people's jobs these pirates wouldn't have a job, period!
What other job could police pirates possibly do? (Police callously extort taxpayers, destroy lives, hurt and kill pets and people for power and a paycheck!)
QUALIFIED IMMUNITY IN ITS ENTIRETY; "MUST BE ABOLISHED"….!

  10. University = private property, and agency. A supposed minor has a case of beer. Whoopy.

However, LEOs were called for a reason of "underage with beer" That is a crime and you do have to furnish ID.

The qualified immunity is still a USC code. So the youngsters threat wont go anywhere.

  11. Police Officers are law enforcement that only have 6 months training and don't even know what the the laws are?? But lawyers have to go to school for 3 to 7 years?? Police officers need to go to school for just as long. Only makes sense 🤔

  12. Disheartening that citizens rights no longer matter. Authoritarian Police Departments operate anyway they see fit, without any accountability. Video after video proves it is only getting worse.
