Last week, Española Police officers went to the Rio Arriba County Sheriff’s Office to serve Sheriff James Lujan with a search warrant for his personal and work cell phones. Police wanted his phones because they say they may have evidence of him interfering with cases involving Española City Councilor John Ramon Vigil, who was just charged with conspiracy, and a career criminal named Phillip Chacon.

If the thugs showed up at our doors with a warrant we would have lost our property, and or freedoms if we resisted with I'm calling my attorney. The only reason he was allowed liberties of tyrants is the fact that he had his gang with guns to refuse the police warrent.

Any evidence that 'may' have been there, has been erased by the time the phones were handed over, however with the correct software deleted files can be undeleted, which would bring an additional charge of tampering with evidence.
No sheriff this is good public officials holding other public officials accountable, which we can tell how much they think they are above the law, this is really disturbing, great job by those police officers!!!
