No one group or person has the ability to effect change across the board, however we are committed to doing our part by continuing to stand up for our constitutional right to free press and the right to take photographs and video in public. In Jerseyville, IL the male library assistant would have been arrested for his hair style.
No kidding.
I had an employee once with one side of her head shaved and the local police illegally stopped, illegally searched, and arrested her and her Puerto Rican boyfriend for walking down a public sidewalk to work.
Later they arrested her for refusing to leave work while on the clock. An illegal order.
She never did anything illegal.
Later that night, the local cops performed an illegal constructive eviction, telling her that if she said anything about it she would never see the light of day again.
They moved to a local motel and the cops arrested her on drug charges. She did not do drugs.
Let me tell you, this girl was scared to death of these cops.
They both left that town in a hurry.
