It’s really expensive to get a car towed, this sergeant understands. Last time with a friend in 1999 when I had a car towed for improper parking it was $120. Expect a tow bill of $200-400 They’re towing two cars that are close to the intersection that are blocking the view.

There's someone who lives by my house. He's always parking his big pickup with the long horse trailer hitched to it on the corner where he lives. He parks along a yellow curb. Finally one day after nearly getting hit trying to go around his vehicle and trailer I'd had enough. I did call the police on him when I came back home and it was still there. I don't generally call the cops on people but this guy truly thinks the yellow curb is his private parking space. It was gone when I had to run another errand about 30 minutes after I got home. I really hope he only got a warning this time and that a warning will be sufficient to keep him from parking there.
There are areas of reasonable compromise. Government and Law Enforcement are not going away. Society is way to big and complex to go back to tribal "utopias" from Ten thousand years ago. Let's improve what we've got, step by patient step.
