   I am not a lawyer. But I do believe I know more of the law than a lot, maybe even most cops. (However, it makes little difference, what I know, I don’t need to practice law.) I’ve been thinking (not feeling) that we need a scale, a method to gauge what law enforcement are saying. That means it needs to put the police on the scale. So here goes.
   I give a knowledgeable Civil Rights lawyer a 10 on my scale. I give a pretty good to fair civil rights lawyer and a good but not civil rights specialty lawyer a 9 on my scale. I give most civil rights activist citizen a 6-6.5 on my scale. I give the average citizen that pays no attention to the law and knows nothing of his rights a 2-3. And I give cops, all cops, sheriff deputies, FBI, ATF, CBP all law enforcement no matter their rank in the department a -3 or -4. That’s a minus 3 or 4.
   I think they are less than zero because they lie. They lie because our own U.S. Supreme Court said they can. You can’t lie, so tell them nothing. Nothing is not a lie. I believe most law enforcement does not know the law. They fail to learn; they do not maintain continuous education. They do not know how to apply the law. And they can be on a force for years continuing to perform the same unlawful acts and arrests never learning from their mistakes. And for those few that may know the law, they purposely do not practice obeying or following the laws themselves. I believe the enjoy, they bathe themselves in the delight of humiliating, tasing, beating, torturing, arresting and displaying a condescending disdain for citizens. Law enforcement believe or behave as if citizens are their prey. Law enforcement will climb the tallest tree, will climb a mountain to tell a lie, instead of standing on the ground and telling the truth. Law enforcement lies on reports even when their own Body Worn Cameras reveal a completely different scenario.
