A Future Without HIV: Investigating South Africa (HIV Pandemic Documentary) | Real Stories – Everything Law and Order Blog

This documentary brings us to South Africa to investigate the epicenter of the HIV pandemic to expand the potential of our social networking technologies and explore solutions for an HIV-free future.

HIV is the second most deadly disease in human history, and continues to vie for the prime position. the HI Virus has claimed over 30 MILLION lives since its discovery, and still counting. New research and increased accessibility of ARVs have made the realization of a future free from HIV a real possibility. What is particular about HIV is that it is a social disease, most commonly contracted through sexual contact; it is affected by social norms. We have had the knowledge and the means to prevent new HIV infections and keep HIV patients alive for decades…So why do we continue to see new infections and AIDS related deaths?

Our new social networking technologies have allowed researchers to understand how behaviors move through networks at population scale.

  1. Trees their bark cures the aids kills the virus. Shamans in villages used the bark to cure the sick. Those trees were all bulldozed down by corrupt greedy evil people. There IS a cure. Give it to everyone so No more suffering No more deaths. Stop the population control using aids to do it.

  2. He doesn't know what you have you dont know what he has so for him to not want to protect himself is a red flag its your life your body ance he would have said that ok its time for u or me to go i am sporry this monster did this to you baby it brought me to tears i can tell your such. A sweet heart evil things allways happens to the good ppl my god i cant tell you sorry enough but im tru truely truely sorry this makes me so angry

  3. No one should be getting AIDS in today's time, because of the advancement in technology and medications. Yes the HIV cases are high, sadly, but with the medication and healthy lifestyle, having HIV is like having diabetes or hypertension.

  4. This is the story of a denialist philosophy followed only because everybody else follows it. It seems Sugar Daddying is the biggest HIV perpetuator. Where I come from Sugar Daddies are Daddies. Old Men. Sugar Daddies are South Africa's Own Goal!

  5. Good cover but I think we dance around the real social ills people find themselves trapped in, “popularity”, “inclusivity”, etc. Young people don’t want to be left out so they do things on peer pressure, sometimes they don’t even get to disprove what their peers say they do once they find themselves in situations they are like “my friends do it so why can’t I”. It is a very dangerous phenomenon only because you want to fit in. I hear the lady there that was saying it’ll be best that the crew speaks to her daughter about these things rather than her, it’s not cultural, is such that we look down at ourselves so much that we dismiss any uncomfortable advice may come from the people that raised us as another form of control. For her sure is difficult because she doesn’t have confidence that her daughter would listen to anything she says. No young teenager wants to be left out and feel like they don’t belong amongst their peers and that’s where the trouble begins. It’s a very challenging aspect to parent, instead teenagers begin rebellions instead of evaluating things that are taught to them. I don’t drink I don’t smoke and is not because I didn’t want to try these things but my chores at home kept me most of the time alienated from my peers, so whatever they were experimenting on I wouldn’t be around to also try them out. Again, thanks for this educational cover, please go to those uncomfortable reasons as well 👌🏽👏🏽.

  6. If the God's foced me to chose between HIV and SLE lupus I would pick HIV, that sle is lupus is alot worser and more painful then HIV with an shorter life span even thow there are meds to slow down sle lupus, it's an good thing sle lupus can't be spread sexually it would be really bad, people can live an long normal life with HIV if they take the meds for it. Sle lupus is passed genetically.

  7. I wish you people would shut up with your idiotic lies! It's the cure that kills you, just like with the other so called virsus! Wake up already people. AIDs is a government created, sponsored and spread disease. If you want to avoid it, avoid the government and their minions like this channel who spread lies and propaganda!
