  1. Where I grew up I heard more Asians and Mexicans saying the n-word than blacks. Idk what that means but it means something.

  2. So remember how in Harry Potter, when Harry says "voldemort" and everyone is afraid because they gave that name so much power? The "N-word" is like that too. It obviously isn't that hurtful to most blacks because literally 99.9% of rap songs has it (doesn't matter if it's "a" or "er", same word)

People should stop being such little crybabies. No black person in america today was ever a slave, neither were their parents, or their parent's parents. Nut up buttercup, it's just a word. Yeah, it was a particularly bad word when it was created, but it's literally just a collection of letters…

  3. Dont look up Louis C.K hahahaha. Comedy is off limits. Comedians will never be censored or "cancelled". Just because you're offended doesnt mean crap. Slowly but surely culture is going to change. People are already starting to poke the bear and the chest. Everybody is getting tired of this cancel culture crap. And comedians are starting the change. In the thing that is genius is you can't cancel comedians. Because the fans that listen to them and watch them think that they are funny and canceling them doesn't change that. They will continue to have a successful career

  4. He's a comedian, I'm pretty amazed he said that tho.
I know Bill Maher didn't mean anything malicious, but like Charlemagne said the intent doesn't always determine the amount another person will be offended.

At the end he brought on Michael Eric Dyson to apologize, got chewed out by Ice Cube n Charlemagne. He kept his show n I love his show. He could def have gone without this joke.

  5. I can’t stand Bill Maher, but I think he just tried to be funny, with an off the cuff, attempt at humor, but hadn’t thought it through.
You can’t end racism with two sets of rules; if it’s wrong for Bill, it’s wrong for all! I had probably gone 10 or more years without hearing that term, and then it was everywhere (thanks 2 Live Crew)!

  6. If it’s racist for him to say it, it’s racist for anyone to say it, white, black, or otherwise.

  7. I'm almost 50 and I can honestly say I have never used the N-word but I also don't like it when black people use it but it's not for me to say as a white person

  8. I’ve been watching Bill’s content a while now and he talks about racism all the time. Has black people on his panel all the time. Why is he gonna try and offend his audience and friends? You can see he was trying to be funny and he said whatever came to his head first. He didn’t have time to sit down and assess all the potential consequences of his joke. The fact it’s a “joke” tells us that it ill intent was not present.
