Clemson University Bake Sale Lists Cookies Priced Differently Based On Customer’s Race

7. What's sad is all PWIs do this whack bake sale at one point or another. This was done at my university in 2002.. However, the black cookies was free, because they claim we got everything handed to us. Ofcourse, black students and those white students had a meeting about the bake sale that same day. What was surprising was the white students actually learned some history and who affirmative action was really for…..white women..not us. It was a good meeting and schooling session and they seemed willing to learn and grasp an understanding.

16. Smh I didn't think someone else would do this crap. This happened at my liberal uni ~10 years ago and the chick (one of the few Young Republicans on campus) who made the bake sale as a statement got dragged… considering she got in the school most likely because of Affirmative Action 😬
