D.A.R.E. Program Calls Out HBO’s “Euphoria” For Glamorizing Sex, Drugs & Violence

1. Never watched KC Undercover but I remember Zendaya on Shake It Up I was dead as binging that in hs lol

2. Dare didn’t even show us the drugs not to do least not in Florida they just said don’t do drugs and kept showing liquor bottles lol

5. I think DARE isn't responding to the actual show but the hype and advertisement of the show. The commercials and twitter buzz makes the show seem like it is highlighting drug use.

10. Its a show..its a bunch of other outlets that promote the same things as euphoria

Studies have shown that the D.A.R.E. program, at best, has had no overall impact on curtailing drug abuse, while other sources suggest that it may have actually increased drug usage by introducing students to illicit drugs they would have never encountered otherwise. D.A.R.E. has been a massive failure and they have no right to lecture others on educating their audiences about the realities of drug use.

21. Why are they singling out euphoria? America itself glamorizes that stuff lol. They are picking on hbo. All they are doing s depicting American culture. Art imitates life.
