He survived falling off a mountain peak, a helicopter crash and a Taliban ambush in Afghanistan. Now, he’s facing his toughest challenge. Former army officer, war reporter and extreme adventurer, Géraud Burin des Rosiers, leads us into the most hostile environments, to meet the last tribes on the planet.
In this first episode, he goes to the Amazon, on the border of Ecuador and Peru, in search of the Huaorani Indians. With them, he hunts crocodiles with his bare hands, steals honey from angry bees, learns shamanic rites and drinks a hallucinogenic potion of ayahuasca to transform into a jaguar. Animated by survival instinct , he plunges his bare hands into a hornet’s nest and faces the coral snake, the most dangerous in the world.
This documentary was produced by Ligne de Front and directed by Geraud Burin des Roziers. It was first released in 2016.

The explorer was truly brave; thanks to him, I now know how friendly the people of the Amazon are. They are hospitable and cheerful. There's no war or complexity like in the more advanced, developed places! I love the people who made this movie❤❤❤❤❤❤
