Hornets Announced Suspended For N-Word Autocorrect Flub

1. Nuggets and the N word are TWO letters apart with both letters being right next to each other….and autocorrect doesn’t bring the N word up as an option so he obviously mistyped it and sent it quick trying to get it in real time and didn’t check his misspelling which was dumb but not in any way malicious.

2. With the last name Focke. I can see that.

3. Clearly he’s used that word before or else it wouldn’t have popped up! Auto Correct is a creature of habit and adapts to words that you’ve used before. So I’m guessing that maybe he has black friends who is comfortable with him using that word? Perhaps like Tiger Woods, Oj Simpson, Charles Barkley, or Wesley Snipes?

   On the flip side, auto correct is very annoying. Sometimes I have to correct it three times before it will remain to what I want it to say.

   One last thing but, I belong to a lot of HipHop Forums and there are a lot of white people who are also on those forums. They vote for racist politicians and you can see it on their profiles. Once you piss them off, they become racist towards you and many times they’ve called me the N word not knowing that i am not black. Then all of a sudden they claim auto correct did it and it was a typo error. Yeah sure it was!!

9. All of y’all are talking about auto correct but in his apology he said it wasn’t autocorrect. The u and I are next to each other and the e and r too. It was a mistake. Poor guy got his career ruined over a typo.

11. It's very ignorant how our black can take offensive over this word but we're going to be dumb enough to call ourselves it. This isn't the problem and I don't blame him for calling us that if that's what he did. The n-word needs to stop being tied to us and just leave it as horrible past.

14. My phone has never ever ever autocorrected to N word. I never used or typed that word so my phone would never autocorrect to it. So this man used it number of times that word

15. Your phone won’t autocorrect to a word like that unless you use it frequent enough for you phone to think that’s what you were gonna say.

18. On Everything…. My phone auto corrects my text every damn day and I don’t proof read and often see myself explaining or correcting the text, post, etc… after its sent. Even words that aren’t close to the word… I Use Swipe for iOS though 🤷🏾‍♂️

22. If you swipe text the N word it will put nuggets, they have the same swipe patterns on the keyboard, that means he types the N word alot for it to auto correct nuggets to the N word

23. CThaGod knock it off. That word isn't automatically in phones vocab. He's been texting that. Also "nuggets" is a regular word that doesn't need autocorrecting.

24. Smart phones should also use acronyms SUN "shut up n!$$@" now autocorrect that

Yeah i typed in nuggets hit space and the word was still nuggets…idk if twitter is different an idk i was talking about lord of the rings with a friend on text hit space and it changed it to deodorant i dont use the word deodorant typed in the word family it space changed it to flagrant…Not making any excuses for him an that word but smartphones are kinda stupid
