A murder story, a love story and a thriller.
In May 2009, Rodrigo Rosenberg, a wealthy, charismatic lawyer went cycling near his home in Guatemala City and was murdered. Nothing unusual there: Guatemala has a murder rate four times higher than Mexico’s, worse in fact than Iraq’s for civilians during the war. What was extraordinary is that Rosenberg knew, for certain, he was about to be killed.
Rosenberg’s lover had been murdered a few weeks before. He was driven to investigate things, he told his friends, that would inevitably lead to his death. A video he recorded days before he died accused the president of his murder. Uploaded to Youtube, it nearly brought down the government.
There began a brilliant investigation, a journey into Rosenberg’s soul and Guatemala’s hell, that after multiple twists and turns, reached a stunning conclusion…

Think was the craziest thing I've ever heard of! I can't believe that this man pays to have himself killed blames innocent people all because someone he loves is murdered?!.. obviously he didn't even think about his 4 children! I would never do this to my children! Such a shame!
Thats the biggest pile of crap i ever heard!! This made me very angry for that poor man..easy to blame a dead man!! Wow gullible watchers..most people will not kill themselves until they see justice for their loved ones!! He doesnt have the suicide bomber mentality! Why does everyone believe that investigator?? That country is pure fear & corruption! Interesting how if he was so thorough why didnt he find answers for the musa murders!! His kids do him a terrible injustice accepting such a bogus conclusion !!

You could see in Rosenburg's eyes that he was an absolutey broken man after his love was killed. His plan was very creative.

Such a great & sad story. Reminds me a lot of what’s going on here in the US. People are willing to sacrifice themselves in order to hurt their political enemies. And no matter how innocent the person they accuse, they will always be guilty in their eyes despite the mountain of evidence proving their innocences. It’s always the rich and powerful right that sacrifices the lower class in order to achieve their political means. They all have the mentality that that evil they foment is justified in order to stop a group that are doing far worse when in the end it’s just because they themselves want the power and hate to see their enemies have it.
My heart goes out to Mr Rosenberg and his family. Sometimes honorable people do irrational things. Does mean they’re less honorable. Just means they’re human caught up in a system where it chews you up and spit your out.
When true patriots love their country they organize and work hard to remove the corruption and the criminals that cause suffering!
The people are stronger than a corrupt government!
