Wait I know the real story…so a bunch of producers had decided on Cynthia Erivo to play Harriet but since there was backlash about her being British, the head of the studio, who was an old white man…think he was 136…said we need an American actress and said Julia Robert's. I believe the producers laughed and never took it serious.

  3. A white women playing a black character? How could they try this? This is racist, it would be be like someone casting a black girl to play Ariel from little mermaid. Just doesn’t work.
