  1. As for why not just leave, you can not ask the question "Why?" to a person that is depressed and expect to get the correct answer.

This was a case that sounds ludicrous so it got turned into comedy fodder for a lot of news outlets and online areas. The reality is that he didn't have a "naggin' wife" as many said, but instead, they had an argument, and from that, he wrote out the robbery note, then carried it out. He was acting out due to depression, which was based on a quadruple bypass heart surgery in 2015. After the incident (arrest), his source of depression was diagnosed. With the correct medications, he stated “I feel great now. I feel like my old self.” He was described as having a stable relationship with his wife. He had never committed any crimes, was a dutiful father, and well respected. When he showed up in court, he was accompanied by his wife, and he had been attending mandated counseling sessions with his wife. The federal prosecutor and his attorney argued for leniency to the U.S. District Court judge. the bank's vice president and the teller did the same. In addition to the six-month's confinement to home, he also had 3 years of supervised probation. He also had 50 hours of community service, and had to pay $100 to a victim's fund, plus $227.27 to the bank to cover the funds of the employees that were sent home on the day of the incident. Since the incident happened in 2016 (September 2nd), he should be back to living a normal life.

  2. Shitty clickbait.
He was suffering from undiagnosed depression after having a quadruple bypass heart surgery. He told his wife he’s going to rob a bank. Robbed the bank, and sat in the lobby waiting for police. He immediately returned the money and said he’d rather be in jail than at home. The teller and the bank requested he not be jailed. They diagnosed his depression and gave him meds. He returned to normal.

The race baiting in the comments is disgusting.

  3. that is not the lesson to be learned the lesson to be learned as white people get away with everything he should have got 20 years no matter his dumb excuse and you you dumbass commentator you are just as stupid as the rest of these white people to be making up excuses he held up a bank go to jail for 20 years

  4. Tbh this may be white privilege but might also be smart thinking with the judge🤔 He hated his wife, now he’s locked in the house with that woman 24/7 for 6 months🤧😂

  5. I like how they evaluated him for depression after he robbed the bank. I just wondering if he was a person of color would he get that same humanity.

  6. Wow that’s white privilege at its finest right there. The judge should’ve sent him to house arrest but 5 to 10 years.

  7. He was hoping to get life behind bars but forgot he was white. No free rent or free food for you. Back to your wife Betty you go lol.

  8. I want his attorney. He's got the hook-up! What judge would give a Black person that deal? It would be want to get rid of your wife? 20 years + free room and board!

  9. He didn't leave the bank he sat outside waiting for the police to arrive,he wanted to get caught I believe that's the reason the judge sentence him to house arrest.

  10. I kno sumbody jus like this personally…he would get into relationships find out that he only wanted sex then cause himself to get locked up to avoid the woman because the women wanted a serious close relationship…and he's a New York native man…it's funny to me how he's so lame he don't kno how to get pussy without the women getting too close
