  1. I totally concur, this is just an example of people that are willing to sell their integrity and their is no other way to see it.
She admitted been call that name in a negative context yet it’s ok for her son to wear the same racial derogatory name on his shirt?, blacks need to take note when they are being played.
I guess maybe one can disguise abducting black people and shipping them to a foreign land to labor for free (slavery) could be looked at as” a cruise with job opportunities “ hows that for seeing it your way .

  2. I can see how it was rasict. But I can also see how it was a innocent shirt directed towards children. But maybe you shouldnt put that shirt on a African American individual.

  3. So choosing to not be offended by stupid fucking words that some idiot 300 years ago decided was offensive is selling out now? I see we’re in a good place in society

  4. The blame also lies and the parents I mean they put the hoodie on him that could have said no, but they wanted the money so badly that they let H&M humiliate their son. And all this for a quick buck they sold their sons soul for money and that's what makes me angry. They're ignorant I don't know any better.

  5. Blacks sold blacks in africa, that's why you still have so much hate and confusion within your own community. All the comments here prove it. You can't move on from hate and you don't know where you belong even. Africans don't give a shit about US blacks. And US blacks identify as africans when the majority was mixed with white slaves and they don't do shit for africans. Plus you still give words so much power, i bet is exhausting being triggered all the time because you find racism in everything.

  6. Wow the last minute and a half of the video was funny when he said the rent is high in the jungle and we need our bananas

  7. "Some things are just racist"

No it's only racist if the person intends it to be racist.

You're acting like she's lying. But these swedes probably had no idea what they were doing and she didn't take it as racist. So where was the problem? You introduced it. Who did this actually hurt? How did, directly or even indirectly, hurt any black man or woman? How? Because you think it reinforces a stereotype or emboldens white supremacists?

Even if I cede this to you. Do you think most people would have ever seen or known about this ad if a blogger hadn't tweeted it to the world? Wouldn't that directly make her more responsible for the damage?

Then people respond by going and trashing H&M stores. And you don't take any issue with that? I believe you that you believe it's racist. But still. You don't think there's even the slightest chance this was done by some oblivious person who has no grasp on american culture or that monkey is a racial slur? And you think the appropriate response is to trash stores.

Bruh. Even if some day someone proves me wrong and I come over to this side that believes systemic racism is rampant (after 8 years of a black president who needed, and got, white votes to win) I'm still not going to support causing destruction or violence. Political violence is being normalized. That should bother anyone who wants a safe country to live in.

  8. Also, its interesting to see how quickly black people used EXPLICITLY racist slurs (unlike HM) against this African family.

  9. The sweater isn't fucking racist…period, green looks good on black people and jungles are green hence this child was chosen to model it. Africans are not mad because they don't have an inferiority complex.

  10. Played her damn self. U just admitted that you knew it was racial and then when everybody came to bat for you, u turn around and tell the community to chill df out

  11. Some.of these comments and.this ignorant ass Charlemagne just as racist as they think this hoodie was. News flash, it wasnt

  12. Of course Africans don't understand how black Americans feel about subliminal racism and i don't think they really care to be honest. Africans don't even like black Americans

  13. Unfortunately the long term affect is racist people can now try to point at her and say “See, it’s not racist”. She has every right to feel how she feels, but it doesn’t negate the international repercussions.

  14. CEO of H&M is the donkey of the day… not the parents. They didn't know what was happening during the actual shoot, they saw the ad basically around the same time the general public did – after it had already been edited and published on the website.

  15. Black people think only white people are racist KMT I’m mixed raced and have had more racist crap from black people than white 💯

  16. 1. Lady your son doesn't understand, he's a child. It is up to you to protect him from situations such as this one.
    2. She was looking for a paycheck, and her son is her way to a paycheck.

  17. H&M knew better, they should never put that ad out, regardless of whether the parents agreed to let their child model the shirt or not. Why didn't they let a WHITE child model the shirt?

  18. GO TO:COMPLEX NEWS!!
TO GET THE REAL STORY!! DIDDY OFFERED HER 1 MILL. & SHE SAID "NO" SO IT AIN'T ABOUT THE $$$!! CTg AIN'T SHIT!!💯

  19. Come on you guys! Really your that stupid!!!! Yeah i mean you radioman! There is no big paycheck for kids who are doing this shit! Read more. please. You do not sound stupid so u your voice to spread a little more love and understanding you IAAAHHHH 🙂
