Thank you real stories for This historic documentary and i hope this country would get what he deserve
Somaliland is gem within a chaos filled region.
Somaliland needs to be recognised by the International bodies to escape the terrorizing Somalia and its clan militias
The first few minutes were 2010 presidential elections
But thanks for upload it 💚🤍❤🇭🇺
Much love to Somaliland from Kenya.
Somaliland must be independent country 🎉
Mansha Allah somalilan habalyo
As a Somali American whose watching this I’m conflicted. On one had I want Somalia to be strong the Somali people to be in one country yet we live in so many countries now what will Somaliland being another country going to do? Yet I recognize Somaliland breaking away from Somalia will weaken Somalia and help empower Ethiopia. You have a nation that is 100 million next door can Somalia or for that matter Somaliland withstand becoming puppet states ? I do not believe so.
Republik of Somaliland ☝🏾💚🤍❤️🫡

Somalia is one from hargeisa guul iyo gobanimo 🇸🇴
This is none sense. Somalia is one country, and they speak the same language , which has the same culture, ethnicity, religion, etc. You can't separate the country based on emotional feelings of small tripe. This is a fact.
Fun fact the union in 1960 was illegal and therefore doesn't stand. Somaliland should now gets its rerecognition
Great video thank you

You are talking about story about Somalia but the background song is love song 😂😂😂
To those screaming about fake union Somaliland was a country in 1960 before something called Somalia and Italia Somalia gained independence by joining Somaliland. However, world is supporting Somalia cuz Somalia is easy to be puppetes in everyone hands which is easy to take advantage of.
Somaliland Raw! It's real democracy and peace.
"Uncovering Hidden Dangers: Conflict with Members of the National Electoral Commission"
The signature of the president of JSL Somaliland marked the commencement of preparations for the presidential election and those of political organizations. However, a lingering dispute within the National Elections Commission has cast a shadow over these proceedings for almost a year. The pertinent question arises: what is the root cause of this conflict, impeding the commission's vital role in ensuring the upcoming elections are conducted with diligence and fairness?
According to well-informed sources, the crux of the commission's dispute lies in the flawed selection process of its members. Except for the UCID party member and the female representative appointed by the Senate of JSL Somaliland, all other members have failed to meet the required criteria for selection. The remaining five members, comprising government officials and party affiliates, were unlawfully appointed, flouting established laws and regulations. The discord stems from these irregular appointments, casting doubt on the commission's impartiality and integrity.
Continued discord within the commission poses grave risks, including the erosion of neutrality and public trust essential for conducting free and fair elections. The potential consequences are dire, ranging from accusations of bias to widespread violence engulfing the nation if not swiftly addressed. Here are the anticipated issues and proposed solutions:
*Anticipated Issues:*
– *Bias and Favoritism:* The presence of improperly appointed commission members may result in biased decisions favoring certain candidates or political interests.
– *Persistent Conflict:* Affiliations of commission members with presidential candidates could exacerbate conflicts, jeopardizing the commission's effectiveness.
– *Eroding Confidence:* Political affiliations of commission members may undermine public confidence in the commission's independence and fairness, thereby undermining the legitimacy of the electoral process.
*Proposed Solutions:*
– *Parliamentary Oversight:* The House of Representatives should promptly review the commission's operations and address internal conflicts.
– *Political Intervention:* Political stakeholders must intervene to resolve conflicts within the commission to ensure timely and credible elections.
– *Appointment Adjustment:* The Waddani party should appoint an alternate member to expedite the commission's activities and prevent further delays.
– *Civil Society and International Oversight:* Committees comprising civil society and international observers should supplement the commission to enhance transparency and credibility.
– *Public Monitoring:* Business and cultural leaders should form monitoring committees to preempt election disputes and prevent violence.
Drawing from global examples of electoral crises, such as those in Kenya, Ivory Coast, Nigeria, Zimbabwe, and Haiti, it becomes evident that electoral disputes can lead to catastrophic consequences if left unchecked. These examples underscore the imperative of resolving conflicts within the Electoral Commission through dialogue, transparency, and adherence to democratic principles.
It is incumbent upon all stakeholders in Somaliland to collaborate in ensuring the forthcoming presidential election is conducted peacefully, transparently, and credibly. By learning from the experiences of other nations, Somaliland can devise effective strategies to navigate electoral challenges and uphold peace and stability within the republic.

This Video is old not now
Within one minute, I was done. As soon as anarchy was conflated with chaos.
Imagine choosing mob rule (democracy) over freedom and believing that is rational choice.
Government indoctrination success story.
Fake country doesn't exist, just little tribal region, Can every tribe now be a country lol

Common white strategy
Divide and conquer like always
You recoreded this more than 14 years ago
Somaliland is part of somalia
Actually they just lost all the leverage they had by loosing 75% land to rightfully unionist in SSC KHATUMO
And AWDAL STATE
It doesnt exist stop your propaganda and come to reality
No genocide happened its all fabricated
There's no democracy in somaliland. 4 tribes live in SOMALILAND, and only one tribe possesses 90 % of the power. Did you call this democracy. Maybe you have another definition of democracy. Please do your homework and make an honest documentary.
