  1. Mo should ask for what she feels is her worth. At the same time be real and show them who she is.

  2. Watch a Tiffany Haddish interview. Then watch a Monique interview. It's pretty clear which one is humble and easy to work with

  3. crazy watching this 3 years later. it's clear capitalism is at the root of the problem and the breakfast club is defending capitalism's right to exploit whoever they want and celebrate whoever they want (men/white). there's still racism and sexism to deal with, but first we need to stop using the all mighty USD to measure everyone's worth. it's hard to imagine, but it's possible. and if you are going to use money to measure people's worth, stop using the same metrics of the people that only care about themselves.

  4. if that's the case. All black people are hard to work with… watching even this show with the mix up with Angela yee and Gucci mane that proved it's difficult for black people to do anything without looking messy..

  5. This has to be the worst donkey of the day… She did not deserve that and what is happening today just proves exactly that…

  6. You guys are missing the picture here. Blacks are belittled by white people in general. Don't forget that. Unless you guys own a business., you don't qualify for an opinion. It amazes me how much you have forgotten our true leaders. The Malcolm x, MLK. I think you are calling her an ass. Totally disagree.

  7. Ok,
Ppl are twisting this into something it ain’t…This shit’s straight frwd, SHE DOESNT SELL ENOUGH TO JUSTIFY WHAT SHE’S ASKING FOR! It’s business….Do your OWN special, and let’s see if she sells as much as she thinks she would lol

  8. I think she deserves Donkey of the Day! I also truly believe that as intelligent as he is, her hubby’s philosophy is part to blame. There are other people in the industry who are trying to help her thinking. Oprah, Tyler, Daniels, Etc. Business 101, like Charlamagne says, is to counter. If they don’t want it move on! I believe that sometimes in business it’s better to be rich than right. 🤔

  9. I know this won’t go well with “everyone”… If people who are amazing overseers and gurus in the industry are suggesting she consider something in her husband’s approach (negotiation skills) that’s perhaps is holding her back. These experienced people have advised her with lots of encouragement from what I can see. They really look like they have her best interest at heart. Deserves paying attention too as “in the multitude of counsellers there is safety.” (Proverbs 11:14). Just sayin… I heard how some of these great people are speaking to her. Seems they are trying to adjust her perspective toward good. Paul told Titus in the good book that a person who is a heretic (or errs while not heeding to advice), after the first and second admonition reject.” (Titus 3:10). There comes a time where these good advisors aren’t going to be around for long. Bridges can be burned. 🙏🏼 Come on Moe! Sometimes it’s better in business to be “rich over being right.” 🤔

  10. Damn, momique is worth more than 500,000 that's stupid..i understood what she saying she's this legend but why wouldn't she get a reasonable amount for her netflix special..no she's not chris rock or eddie murphy..she should atleast be in the 7-10 million range. Unfair..black, women injustice definitely. Keep ya head up sister

  11. Monique a legend?. Really?.. I respectfully disagree.. No disrepects to Monique. But with that being said, I just don't see Monique as a comedy legend. She's OK but not a legend. Legend is a heavy word for someone who is very famous and has greatness in a particular field(s). Monique is an ok comedian but not so great and famous a comedian. Just like there are regular Stars but not so famous Super Stars. Super Stars are in a whole another higher level and category then a Regular Star. Like a person with a Ph'D level is higher than a person with a Master's or Bachelor's degree level.. Just saying,..

  12. I think a more worthy argument is: WHY she's not in anything current like her male counterparts???? Chris rock…Dave…?? That's what I would've mentioned.

  13. This just let you know your reputation will get you further than your money can better yet a good reputation will lead to the money your looking for.
