In South Africa, four rhinos die every day at the hands of poachers. With one kilo is worth 60,000€, twice as expensive as gold and cocaine, taking on the mafia networks and poachers is extremely dangerous. Pit Track is one of 600 private militias employed to guard the nature reserves and private parks. We join them on patrol and visit an orphanage for baby rhinos whose parents were killed by poachers.
This documentary was produced by Yemaya and directed by Frederic Cristea. It was first released in 2018.
