Is this what HONDA calls a “complete fuel system treatment”? They recommend that for my car. I have a 2018 Honda accord lx with 36k miles. They want $220 for it. How do I know if I need it? Or should I just use those bottles from Walmart or AUTO ZONE that say “fuel system cleaner” ? 🥹

I just changed my filter and pump. It was suggested to me that I might have had sugar but I didn’t see any evidence of it. But others told me they didn’t have to change out those parts in 30 years and 350,000 miles. But I had all the symptoms of a clogged filter or some sort of fuel issue(stalling, rough idling, sluggish, no start, etc.). The fuel that poured out of the filter was dark brown and it was only 4 years(50,000 miles) old. It has still stalled a couple of times since then but seems to be much better. I added a fuel system cleaner and have only driven 15 miles since all of this. I guess I can keep adding cleaner. The bottle I added yesterday was on a full tank and maybe I’m supposed to let it get low first? I’m going to have to get it to a mechanic to see if there’s anything else going on with it. Also, I don’t see any leaks but I definitely smell gas.

The reason sugar dosnt disovle in gas but does in water is that water is strong acid if even the smallest water gets into yall gas tank ur cars ruined
I would have used compressed nitrogen instead of compressed air. Compressed air can have tons of moisture in it. Some air lines actually blow water out of them.
@chrisfix you are amazing , I just felt that at 19:51 when you were installing the fuel injectors in the port, I see lot of dirt around the port and may be the dirt would have been in the port as well, I feel you could have cleaned it before installing the injectors.

Not true cause i fixed a car with the same issue once and let me tell you the engine was gone .. your engine will be busted if the fuel tank is an old one like iron and you live in a hot country which has normal 50 degrees celcius in summer .. yeah may be the new cars with plastic made tanks wont but in hot country with iron tank it will and the car which was brought to me was a 1980 nissan wannet
