  1. Lots of comments already but saved me $900 for a repair on my Mercedes SL 550 (yes, they really wanted that much!!), that Why I'm leaving a comment and subscribed. Thanks, Chris!!!

  2. I tried this and left my car outside in the sun for about 20 mins, but after I went to go and remove the square piece, it looks like a permanent raindrop lol. How did this happen? Followed all the instruction. Outside was about 85degrees in the sunlight

  3. tx u for all the info. Tried it, but only got 3/4 of bullseye to disappear and the star's lines are still there. do you recommend, i dig out the bulleye and try again? Can the star's lines disappear, 4 lines radiating, two longest a little less than inch from end to end. If left alone, will the lines will continue to crack?

  4. I watched this video year ago. I got a chip in the wind ahead so I bought a kit to repair it. I thought to watch it, but I didn’t. I just made the chip much larger and now I regret not watching this first. Learn from my mistake y’all.

  5. Has anyone done this when down in the South where we don't have a garage or shade to work with? Lots of sunny/hot days but little shade without trying to go somewhere that's not by our house. Looks easy enough overall, but want to make sure this is doable without waiting for cooler/shadier weather.

  6. 6:25 make sure the resin doesnt get into the tip of the syringe it will dry up and there won't be a vacuum effect created, the resin will block it
8:06 don't do this, it will blow out

  7. @ChrisFix I followed all the step perfectly but I still see a small pec and two or three cracks in it, is it still safe to drive The cracks or maybe smaller than a grain of rice so is the pec

  8. Yeah, but does it hold over time? Is this just a temporary fix, say weeks/ months or will it hold for years?
Like will it hold after a hot summer, cold winter etc? Anyone used this & can share experience?

  9. 8:10 I pushed the plunger too much in, and the resin went everywhere. Oh well… hopefully it can be cleaned up easily once it dries. I didn't want to wipe it off with a towel like you said. Good video nonetheless!
