  1. To be grammatically correct, It's "a lot shorter throw", not "a lot shorter of a throw". Also, "a lot tighter fit", rather than "a lot tighter of a fit". Just delete the of a in both cases and you'll be good to go. Happy Motoring.

  2. I hope you see this. I was wondering with my car when i shift it leaves and enters new gears realy easily i dont have to apply force. In the video it looks like you have to force it in gear. Is there Maybe something wrong with my shifter or is it just a difrence between cars. I drive a Daihatsu trevis

  3. I have an MGW tr3650 (race model with the shortest throw) on my 03 GT. I highly recommend it over the Steeda model. Pricey…(I think it's down to $250 now) but very nice and close to the best you can get, throw and overall quality IMO.

  4. Switched out the stock gear shift with the same one you got on the video. I also got a new lower boot that seemed cheaply made…all from LMR. Now I am getting some noise that coming up through the gear shifter that wasn't there before. Should I reuse the old lower boot and see what happens? And thoughts as to why I would be getting noise now? I also bought the gasket and the small cup thingy. It shifts great but sounds noisier than before. Not terribly noisy but it is letting sound in now. Thanks

  5. ty so much for this video! i bought a 1996 mustang gt and remembered you had made a whole serie on how to modify this car and today i finally installed my pro 5.0 short throw shifter and as a person who never worked too much on his car except the really basic maintenance things, your video helped me so much. i followed your video step by step and everything was super easy to do. funny enough, i broke my dollar store rachet trying to unbolt the same bolt you had issue with😂. after my brother brought more tools, we finished the installation and the improvement it gives was reallly worth it! ❤
