  1. Ngl I've watched this vid a couple of times already to see what I'd need to do for repairing rust holes on my car and it's only now that I noticed there were some dents in the finished work. I'm sure those can be corrected with some PDR work anyway but I find it impressing that I haven't noticed the slight dents until now. Could be that my eyes aren't the best tho haha.

  2. AFAIK, you should never use rubberized undercoating as it can trap moisture. I wish I would've commented sooner, been watching for for nearly a decade! Gonna be attempting this with my 2007 fusion, as I have no money for professional work and no choice lol

  3. i did this a couple of years ago on a very rusty car it went well. But i skipped the parts when you sand from the behind etc … DONT do that i just wanna say ..😅

  4. You have 2 different spot putties listed — 907, which you used in the video and 801 ("professional") which costs 3x as much. Have you tried both? If yes, would you recommend one over the other? I'm wondering if it would be worth spending the extra for the 801.

  5. rust reformer destroyed my car, my paint, my cars parts made of plastic. i learned from this mistake and soon i will try it to destroy the gum around the windows so that the window can move better

rust reformer sincly binds phosphorus to the rust.

  6. I watched this video a few years ago and followed all the steps to fix a bad rust spot in my car. Now it looks great! Thanks @ChrisFix for your excellent DIY videos!

  7. What did that panel look like on the car years later? After doing research online bodywork armchair experts say that rust grows through bondo and makes it worse. How long did it take for this car to return to how rusty it was? Or did it stay nice like that
