  1. Get your daily "FIX" here on Instagram (like the turbo kit I am about to post): https://www.instagram.com/ChrisFixit/

Also, I got another discount code for 25% off your entire order from Advance Auto… Use code "RADIATOR" for 25% off anything (not just radiators). I got that code for you guys and for myself lol… I dont make any money off of it and the idea is to try to make fixing your car even more affordable, so put it to good use!!!

  2. Well I went the way you talked about. Yet you didn't mention about the A/C condenser that's attached to a radiator on a V8 5.0 for a Mercury Mountaineer. So my fan shroud is now cracked at the bottom. So now it goes to the shop.

  3. Hey Chris, i got a 2004 citroen xsara 1.4 HDi and it burns a little oil. When i asked about it to my mechanic he said i need to restore engine completely to fix it. And costs half of the cars price. Do you have a video about how can i identify what is the problem with my car? Some say its may be PCV valve

  4. What if you automatic transmission car does not have a fluid level stick in the engine bar and the only way to check the level is to lift the car and check(or add if necessary) from the bottom?

  5. i changed my radiator but i wanna check if my car engine overheats bc i was in a accident and destroyed both the ac condenser and radiator and i think i left my engine running im not sure should i buy an ac condenser first before i put the coolant or should i just put the coolant and see if heats up just with the radiator and fan installed? btw my car is a mustang so the condenser is in front of the radiator

  6. hey so my radiator had a leak and caused my engine to overheat so i removed the radiator to check where it was leaking from but now i can’t do the super flush cause im forced to buy a new one is it bad to not flush it entirely and putting the new radiator on?

  7. good rule of thumb. doing any work under the hood…just unhook the battery. never know. you could touch something that has a short in it or what not. if the hood goes up the neg plug comes off.

  8. Awesome video!

Are you available in NJ for a replacement or know of an honest mechanic in Northern NJ? I don't have space/not allowed to fix the car myself anywhere. 🙂

What does a job to replace the radiator and thermostat housing cost? Is OEM or aftermarket better?

    Thank you for sharing!

  9. hey, I lost a lot of my trans fluid throughout this process but I have a sealed transmission, how would I go about adding more and adding the correct amount considering i don't have a dipstick?
