  7. Tried torquing the caliper bolts at 60 cause i wasn’t sure and they where moving when droping the car back down ended up snapping the f*cking bolt

  10. Chris – THANK YOU! Had a very full weekend thanks to you. Ended up replacing all 4 pads and rotors on my Hyundai Tucson (90k miles), bled the brakes, and did a transmission fluid change. My wife was very leery of me doing the brake change, but I showed her the intro to this exact video of you talking about how simple it is and very hard to mess up. That eased her nerves (and mine too!!) that I could do it. Just getting into car maintenance. Did oil changes for the first time a few weeks ago. Now jumped into the deep end with these 3 all on the same weekend. Next up is replacing front pads and rotors and brake bleed to my Hyundai Elantra (145k miles). All in all probably spent close to $600 on all the parts, consumables, various tools, jack stands and a quality 3-ton floor jack. Spent about $450 on rear pads and rotors at a local mechanic back in 2020 so I can't imagine what I would've paid for the work I did this weekend. All in all, like I said, thank you! Keep up the good work.

  11. I just replace my brake pads but for about 40 degrees the rotor has difficulty rotating due to the pad rubbing on the rotor. I have to put in effort to turn it. Is this normal? If not, what do I do?

  12. Question: Curious, while compressing the piston, I heard it could be bad for older brake lines, and the bleeder should be opened while compressing the piston then tightened afterwards. Do you think it's that important?

  13. I saw a video that satirically “called out” Chris fix for making his videos look way too easy. After doing the front passenger rotor and brake pad i was not having fun and then immediately after my caliper guide bolts snapped and I don’t have a car to pick any up and honestly I’m letting the video become propaganda until after my shower where I’ll probably search up another Chris fix video immediately after
