Learn how to hard wire a dash camera and rear camera in your car or truck. All modern cars have airbags and many people run the power wires to the dash camera incorrectly which can be dangerous. In this video I show you how to hardwire a dash camera in a truck and do a clean install using the factory cigarette lighter adapter in a car so all of the wires are hidden. You can use this video to install any brand of dash camera but in this case I am using the Vantrue E1 and Vantrue N4 Pro with a rear camera and cabin facing camera.

I've been using these vantrue cameras for a while and they are constantly duds. I have their newest one which seems to be doing great but the last three I bought all sucked. They would rarely turn on and the storage was constantly getting corrupted. I really want to believe this is a decent company but they wouldn't help when I had all these issues originally

I wish you had used a RAV4 as the specimen. The clips for the airbag pillar in a RAV4 is not the same and tricky to work with.
My dash cam has saved me quite a few times. I have a nexar bought it from Walmart for $100 and it automatically saves to the app and has a backup sd card. And clear picture. Got me through 5 car accidents
