  1. en muchisimos coches no tan viejos como los del video, si desconectas bateria se te desconfigura, te pedira codigo de radio e incluso apareceran luces de averia, te tocara ir a taller a que las apaguen

  2. Possibly to keep water out but there’s a book called shop class for soul craft. Makers intentionally want you to take it to the dealership to get fixed so they put obstacles to diy. When you pop the plastic off you’ll find it is just a useless cover. However it may reduce engine noise in the cabin so I left mine on.

  3. Hey Mr. Fix, thanks so much for this video! I'm a 20-somethin college gal and former car-hater who was gifted a car at 230,000mi and your videos have taught me how to love and care for my vehicle with genuine interest. After replacing all of the fluids, I spent the whole day today following your tutorial and detailed the mechanical hellscape that is a Hyundai engine bay, and while my results weren't as phenomenal as yours, the car probably hasn't looked this good since it first rolled off the lot all those miles ago! Thank you for your informative videos, and for teaching me to love working on these crazy machines. – Jackie

  4. Unplug sensors one by one and put dielectric grease in them and reconnect, after removing the battery, this will ensure no water can enter the sensor if a seal is bad that u cant see, so when you reconnect the battery there will be no chance of water causing any type of short, doing this will also be good for the long run as your sensors will be treated for years to come
