Yesterday, AWP returned to Lake Tawakoni, Texas in hopes of recovering 23-year-old Carey Parker who was last seen on March 17, 1991.
Earlier this year in February, AWP found Carey Mae Parker’s (https://youtu.be/TnKcfpvKTEs) car underwater, solving the mysterious disappearance of what happened to Carey, and why she never arrived at her son Brian’s birthday party 30-years ago in Hawk Cove, Texas.
Over the past 2-days, Jared and Doug set up a perimeter to search for any remains of Carey.
Several items of Carey’s were found in, around, and near the debris left from the car recovery in February including the BMX bicycle, she has purchased as a birthday gift for Brian.
Remains of Carey have been recovered and the family can now begin to heal, no longer wondering where their mother is or why she never arrived at Brian’s birthday party.
It’s been a long and difficult road for Carey’s children, Brandi, Mandee, Brian, along with Carey’s sister Trish who now have the answers they’ve been praying for these past 30-years.
A full autopsy and DNA will need to be conducted before a final confirmation that these are Carey’s remains.
Our thoughts and prays go out to Carey’s family during this difficult time.
