The mysterious disappearance of 84-year-old Virginia Collier has been solved after 3-years.

Virginia left her brother’s home on Macon Street in Glencoe, Alabama March 15, 2019 heading north in her electric blue 2019 Kia Optima with the Florida license plate number I175MQ and simply vanished for 3-years.

This documentary brings you alongside Adventures With Purpose’s final underwater search in the area, following clues as to Virginia’s last known location that day. In the end, it was hunters who found Virginia and her car in the woods where she crashed 3-years earlier.

HUNTER’S DISCOVERY SOLVES THE MYSTERY OF VIRGINIA COLLIER’S DISAPPEARANCE
================
Etowah County Sheriff Jonathon Horton said on Wednesday morning, Feb 16th 2022, a group of rabbit hunters were on land they’d leased when one of their groups located a blue 2019 Kia in a wooded area.

Horton said the hunter immediately contacted the sheriff’s office, sending a photo of the car’s license plate. It matched Collier’s car tag.

Near the front of the car, the sheriff said, the hunter found a purse with a wallet containing Collier’s Florida driver’s license.

After Etowah County and Glencoe investigators met with the hunter at Black Creek Fire Department and they were led toward the site, investigators found a human cranium, then clothing and other bones.

Glencoe Police Chief Kenon McKenzie said the investigation continues, but there’s no suspicion of foul play.

He said the car was found about 12 to 13 miles off Tabor Road, and he estimated it was about 12 miles from the home of Collier’s brother — where she was bound the night she was last seen alive.

We are humbled by the opportunity all of you have given us to help in searches like this one for answers as to what happened to Virginia.

In the end, it was not Adventures With Purpose or any other Search Team who found Virginia. It was the rabbit hunters being in the right place at the right time which gives us hope that others like Virginia will one day be found and brought home to their families as well.

Hug the ones you love for you never know when it might be the last time you see them.

  1. Maybe if a search was done with drones.. it’s so sad.
You have done amazing job trying to help the family. God bless you!

  2. Guys, I’m at it again, your friendly member grammar checker with a handy tip so you can sound as smart as you are. There was an entire “Friends” episode about “supposibly”. There is no “B” in supposEDly. S-U-P-P-O-S-E-D-L-Y — no “B”.

  3. How sad, condolences to the family 🙏😢. You guys are so wonderful with all the work you do. One good thing is you never have to work out. With what all you do is such extreme work out. You guys are the best 🥇

  4. can i make a small suggestion to the editor from a viewers point of view. I know on some you do but if there is mulit videos on one case like this one has 2, can you put in the title 1, 2, 3 ect? and another thing would be cool is when the guys see something on the screen if you can draw an arrow to it… sorry I love you guys so much and love what you do

  5. She was pretty far away from where you guys searched, seems she went the opposite direction from her brothers house, she went down a side dirt road that led no where but seems she kept going

  6. The thought of her being lost and confused and dying alone… terrifying. 🙏🫶 My thoughts are with her family

  7. I'm a trauma trained Nurse Practitioner with 19 years of experience and would LOVE to assist these guys in any way I can. I just wish I had some skills that could be beneficial. You guys are nothing short of heroes.

  9. My husband’s uncle was going to renew his licence and a friendly doctor had given him a pass . My husband rang the licensing people and gave them a head’s up on his near blindness and the dodgy doctor . They said thanks and tested his eyesight themselves . No licence for Uncle Joe !

  10. I am wondering now if they're going to start using the AQUA-EYE

  13. Its a shame families don't take the keys from their loved ones when they are aware they are having memory issues
Not blaming the family at all, its a tough situation, im in it with my mom now. She's 71 and gets lost when she walks around the block for cigarettes and a soda. It worries me so much

  14. Something about her there sounds fishy to me, how wouldn't there been other rabbit hunters or whatever the fck out there, or did somebody actually did know about it? Or how in gods name would ms. Colliers end up there in the middle of the trees, with no road to it, and lined up vertically in the same way as the road but kinda far of it? Even if she wouldn't feel well, the definitly would stay on the road or on the side of the road, she wouldn't start driving through the woods for no reason, as she was heading somewhere… and her out of the car if she "crashed" she'd already have hit another tree or something else until she get's to the position like the maps is showing on her location, it's just all a bit too mad to be true, she just had some dementia, and she drove waaay off the road, and got out of her car, layed down nearby and died? Doesn't make sense to me… May you rest in peace Ms. Collier.

  15. All way through doug and jarod are passionate pro and always putting the family first . I admire you guys for that . The whole team are brilliant in background . 👏 but with this I'd say its not an easy job you do ,so the effort put in for the family's I'm sure is greatly appreciated. Good luck . And god bless the family's.

  18. Hod Bless Amen 🙏 🙏🙌🤲🤲🥰😇🫂💚💙❤️🌸🌹👼🕊💕😢🍀🌹🌷🌷🙌💚🌸👏💛🐞💜❤️🙏🙏💙💙❤️💜💜🐞🙏💙❤️💜💜🐞

  19. Dementia people need to be watched really closely.. My Mom had that and we had to put a key deadbolt because before that she was wondering the neighborhood and we have a small pond by our house, This poor family hopefully they can heal. Your channel has exploded since the Rodney case which I am happy to see. God Bless you all. 💜

  20. I have never hit the JOIN button for any channel. Is the monthly fee going straight to you? Or just a percentage. Would like to help out.

  21. Confusion is not uncommon for elderly, even if they are not specifically diagnosed with dementia. We are creatures of habit, and how many of us drive while our minds are focusing on other things we are going to do later, versus actually focusing on driving? The elderly also have slower reactions to changes.
The issues with dementia is that the brain is pulling from older memories, or visuals that represent strong emotional meanings to that person. And those mental images in their minds eye, are what are being perceived as a current reality.
So whatever they are "seeing", and "feeling", are what they are physically reacting to at any given moment.
Which means their mental/physical interactions are NOT accurately connected. So once something "snaps" them back to current reality, it is a sudden shock and confusion to them. Then there is likely panic. Or when they are driving, they simply have these accidents that happen so quickly, while their minds are "elsewhere".
In truth though, it is no different then young people playing inn their phones while driving. They are focused away from driving until it's too late to react correctly with the physical issues in front of them. It's just a different distraction process, but same results!

  22. My 88 year old uncle was suffering from a severe infection (unknowingly) and was extremely delirious/confused and had gotten in his car (that he never drove anymore) and proceeded to drive 25 minutes in a direction he had never gone before in his life. He ended up 2 towns over and hit a tree that ultimately saved his life. He would have gone straight into a lake if the tree didn’t stop him first. I get chills thinking of what could’ve happened to him. We would’ve never expected him to be where he was, and seeing these videos makes me realize we could have been left trying to figure out what truly happened to him if he had gone into the lake that night. Thank you for being heroes and bringing peace to so many people.

  23. That cop was low key hoping you guys would “happen” to find the vehicles he knows is in the water so he’d have an excuse to pull them out. Seemed frustrated with his old boss for not doing anything about it at the time

  24. I wish u were here in Canada my grandpa has been missing 11 years tomorrow after leaving a dart tournament from his local bar he never came home cops local people searched for few weeks of and on but not once they ever dived the two lakes near the areas it's where I think he his my grandma was strong always thinking he was going to walk in and he never did she passed away to covid 19 2021 but she never stopped looking there a lake 4 miles from were he left from the bar it has a road leading down to lake and just by their house there's another lake as well his car was never found nothing he vanished after he left the bar it's been hard on family he was a loving caring church going man who was hard working …ty for everything u do bring loved ones home to there family prayers to your guys safety on these dives .

  25. I live a few miles from where she was found and can completely understand how nobody noticed the car for so long, there is so many little side roads and so much land around here that nobody ever goes on.
Thank you AWP for everything you do! Stay safe out there and keep up the amazing work ❤️

  26. I grew up on these riverways on the Coosa out of Gadsden, so I've got running commentary watching this. "No, not there, too shallow," "YES, check that one!" 😀
    Glad Miss Virginia was found.

  27. I want to say first, thank y'all for all the great work you do and the closer you bring to so many families, I don't understand the reasoning behind roads running straight into water, at a boat ramp I get but not a road. I want to say to the family so sorry for your loss. Great job AOP 👏.

  28. You's are great, I donated, but only 10.00, but on disability and social security hey why don't you send me a good pair of woman's sunglasses that you find that would be great LOL

  29. That poor lady. Finds herself in the dark woods. She had to be scared to death. Fear and confusion set in. She can't stay in the car because claustrophobia starts haunting her. She can't think of what to do except to get out of the car. My heart goes out to her.
