We found 84-year-old Nadine Moses in her car underwater, solving a 5-month-old missing person case in Casco Township, Michigan, bringing home a mother, grandmother, and friend.
This documentary brings you alongside Adventures With Purpose’s search on September 25th, 2021, following the clues Nadine left behind, leading to the discovery of where Nadine and her car had gone missing in the St Claire River 5-months earlier before being found and recovered.

CASE DETAILS
Nadine Moses had been experiencing memory loss with early onset of dementia, waking early at 2:00 A.M. on May 4th, 2021.
After making her bed, a fresh cup of coffee, and putting the dishes in the dishwasher, Nadine drove away from her home in Casco Township, Michigan in her Dark Blue Ford Edge, leaving friends and family to wonder for over 5-months, where did Nadine and her car disappear to, and what happened?
While hundreds in the community came out in search of Nadine, she had yet to be found.
Family members reached out to AWP with a feeling she may be underwater in the area.
Following leads from Nadine’s cellphone that it had last pinged at 5:08 A.M. with a hard shutoff at 5:12 A.M. along with surveillance footage showing Nadine traveling southbound in town, it was determined that in this 4-minute window, Nadine was no further than 3 miles from her last known location.
Jared and Doug made the decision to put two sonar boats in the St Claire River, and heading north, in less than 20-minutes, identified a vehicle upside down underwater.
Diving on the vehicle in poor visibility, Jared was able to read the last two digits of the license plate, confirming this was Nadine’s Ford Edge, and belief that she was inside.
Local law enforcement was notified along with the family.
With great effort by the St. Clair County Sheriff Dive Team recovered Nadine’s car 30′ offshore, and 20′ underwater in the river.
There was extensive damage to the vehicle and it is believed that barges unloading rock at the local gravel pit had been parking over the top of Nadine’s car for months.

Nadine looks like she had the wittiest responses and the best jokes in town. I'm so happy you guys found her, though it was hard to see how her car looked, especially since I have the same car. Sheesh.
Really like the numbers of depth on the diving camera too.
Personally, I think Jared just found this was what he was meant to do in life. And anything else wasn't satisfying and felt morally wrong.

I really hope that AWP are given the reward money when they find the missing.. It's total bs to say the reward ran out like.. WHAT.. Rewards should stay in place until a person is found.. If AWP got the reward money then they could expand their team find more lost and missing.. Since Australia is and island we don't have lakes.. We have deadly spiders and snakes I've never heard of a person and their car go missing.. In my 17 nearly 18 years on earth just waiting for my new debit card to arrive so I can join the membership program.. Not until you see the state of the car do you realise how amazing these guys are to spot that on sonar and be able to determine it was hers.

I live in the same community,and shared her BOLO when she disappeared. I personally feel that the freighters/ large ships were blocking the car when the local police department was looking in that area. I want to say thank you for your help. Your job is emotional, but needed.

Why was she still driving with dementia? I’m not bashing her or the family what so ever. I know the elderly love having a sense of freedom and being able to still go out but if my father ever developed this disease I’m taking his keys away.

I wonder if she wandered onto that property and the working machines hit her, pushed her in the river so as to not get caught? 🤷ðŸ»They said it was a sunny day and the business operates when it's sunny…Being so close to that business leaves me with questions. Am I the only one?

I'm so glad this family got answers, not the ones they were hoping for but she is home now and laid to rest. What a sweet looking lady and I'm sure she is loved beyond belief, my heart and deepest sympathy goes out to the family of Nadine!

I cry and get goosebumps at the moment it’s confirmed to be the missing person. Such a bittersweet ending for the families. I always hope they don’t suffer in the end. It has be the scariest moment for all victims of these horrific accidents. Rest In Peace beautiful lady

After watching quite a few of your rescues, I want to say how grateful for all you do to help bring these people home. It would be nice if in the beginning of your episodes or at the end, that you give people tips on how to exit a sinking vehicle. You have perfect audience for education on this type of accident.

That is so very sad. My Mom had dementia and like Nadine she had so sense of time so she would wake up in the middle of the night and wanna start her day. This one hit me the hardest because I lost my Mom last year also. I had to put special locks on the door because several times I found her out wondering the neighborhood. My thoughts and prayers goes out to her family and God Bless you guys for bringing her home. 💜

I rewatching these videos and seeing some of the comments infuriate me . I started watching Jared before he was searching for love ones . I remember the first body he found which changed his life forever. He is good at what he does and he is truly is passionate about his purpose . I would want someone to find my loved one to bring closure
