The V-22 Osprey is a highly capable tiltrotor aircraft, which combines the vertical takeoff and landing, and short takeoff and landing capabilities of a helicopter with the speed and range of a fixed-wing aircraft.
The Osprey is the world’s first production tiltrotor aircraft. For storage, the V-22’s rotors fold in 90 seconds and its wing rotates to align, front-to-back, with the fuselage.
The MV-22B is the U.S. Marine Corps variant.
