7. In this Exercise Iron Spear, Germany, Spain, USA, Italy, Norway, Poland, UK and France clashed. On the tests specific to tanks (targeting and firing exercises [including at night], combining speed and precision), the Leclerc outclassed other NATO tanks. The countries involved are unanimous on this observation ”And it is therefore the crew of a Leclerc tank [foxtrot 5] which won, at the end of an apparently very contested event, the German and Norwegian Leopard 2 crews having displayed a "high technical level", according to the Army Staff.
   But for some events the Leclerc was at a disadvantage compared to its competitors for the simple reason that it requires a crew of 3 whereas it takes 4 to operate a German Leopard 2 or an American Abrams. Without this disadvantage, the first place was practically acquired.

16. Ну что, я рад за супостата! Самые "крутые" препятствия – переехать легковушку и объехать шпалы! Стреляют с укатанных дорожек и с остановки. Ну а из пистолетика всех врагов победят!!! Колейные мосты, эскарпы, противотанковые рвы и косогоры, броды и минные поля для них не существуют. Ну а неподвижный танк – подарок для наших ПТУРов и противотанковой артиллерии. Наш БУРЯТ тренируется поражать цели на ходу, по колдобинам и буеракам, выныривая с брода, в любую погоду. Потом подьедет к Леопарду, метнёт ему на броню гранату, заберёт у немца пистолетик и наваляет пиндюлей, что бы не баловался с оружием !!!

27. Die armen Dummköpfe in ihren Stahlsärgen Glauben wohl, dass sie irgend etwas aus der westlichen Unwertegemeinschaft verteidigen. Sie sollten froh sein, dass Russland so konsequent defensiv in seiner Politik ist, denn waffentechnisch ist die NATO zum Glück kein ernsthafter Gegner.
