4-day Agrovision to focus on agriculture technology and yield boosting

Nagpur: The 15th edition of ‘Agrovision’ India’s premier agri summit will be held at PDKV Ground, Dabha from November 22 to 25. The yearly farmers’ expo, patronised by Union minister for road transport and highways Nitin Gadkari, will be inaugurated on Friday. Apart from Gadkari, deputy chief minister Devendra Fadnavis and chief minister of Madhya Pradesh Mohan Yadav will also be present at the event.
With the theme ‘Empowering farmers: Technology, Training and Trade’, the Agrovision, will focus on a number of issues related to agriculture technology and yield boosting. The first day will have a special workshop on the scope for increasing the dairy business in Vidarbha. This will be followed by sessions on the use of IT in agriculture, technology for increasing sugarcane production, as well as the participation of youth in agriculture the next day.
Workshop will be held in 40 important topics. More than 60 experts will give their guidance in the workshop. Special prolonged workshops will be held in six important subjects including food processing, orange production, fisheries, and farmers’ producer organisations.
Agrovision as an exceptional platform for famers from across India to exchange knowledge and expertise. The mega exhibition at Agrovision is a major highlight that attracts a diverse range of participants, including corporates, central and state government departments, public sector undertakings, NGOs, R&D organisations, education institutes, Financial Institutes, MSMEs and self-help groups.
The aim of the exhibition is to inform farmers about the latest technologies and methods of increasing farm production.
