You know what, I’m sick to death of BAD APPLES!!! The BAD APPLES ARE THE POLICE CHIEFS, who allow the abominable behavior. What kind of horrible officer is this!
I for one, am sick to death of these vicious bully cops!
It must stop! Who controls these irresponsible police chiefs??? Who??
Georgia is a backwater racist state, where normal working black people are treated like criminals!!
I have lived here over 50 yrs. And trust me, the only thing that has changed is the faces of these racists!!
why?
Panhandling on a road is a life threatening misdemeanor but when israel sends AIPAC to Panhandle America for Billions… that's A OK😂
The 11th Circuit Court has already ruled that asking for money is a 1st amendment right.
Jeff Gray makes a living exposing corrupt cops for this in Florida.
Federal law allows panhandling. Towns and cities have no legal right to enforce illegal policies.
They will now be uninsurable
Shit they just love to give money away
That police officer screwed up big time.now has to pay
Should’ve ordered the city to cover Jerry under their heath insurance with payment of any of his share of premiums, deductibles, and out of pocket max.
attorney fees over 60 million….
vultures, that is what they are, leeches ….
How much did the cop pay? ZERO
Any update in july 2024? Has he been paid yet?
Tazering someone running down a hill is reckless endangerment. No probable cause to even detain him. DEFUND THESE CRIMINAL POLICE DEPARTMENTS.
This is bull shit he should not have run, that makes him guilty, this time the cop was right!!! Don’t efing run
well the lawer is over charging he didnt earn $60' 000'000 from this guy what a thief
This judgment is not going to change the policing policies one bit! It's going to be business as usual, for every police agency across the United States. They're not going to change one thing in regards to your policies or attitudes!
$60M in attorneys fees? Explain that so that it makes sense.
Fleeing from a tyrant should never be an offence.
Does the US supreme court overrule state court laws when they make a finding as in the case where they say that panhandling is protected under the 1st amendment its what jeff grey uses to file suit against towns that violate his rights
Attorney fees $60 million 🙄 that’s almost as gross as the incident itself
Wow. The INTEREST alone on a $100Million Could buy a lotta hungry people alot of meals
No body camera, of course!
Laws need to be changed on taser use. There is no reason to use tasers unless the person is a threat to the officer or directly to someone else close by. Compliance is not a reason to use a weapon this dangerous.
Panhandling is a 1st Amendment Right..
Why wouldn't the cop just wait until the next day?
Panhandling may have been a crime in 2018, but it’s a constitutional right, now.
Panhandling your constitutional right
The only question I have is did the officer actually view the money exchange between this guy and a random person to say he was panhandling or was the cop's behavior solely based on his assumption?
Could be he ran because it wasn't his first experience with excessive force.
