If you’re a citizen talking on a sidewalk and someone walks up with a gun shouting at you, who gives a shjt wether they have a badge, there’s a reasonable amount of explanation that comes with your job. I think it should be National Policy for "Peace Officers aka LEOs" to have third party based monitoring, regulation, instruction and discipline be administered and regulated in order to uphold a level of Duty that's beyond Reproach! Officers are far too lackadaisical and whimsical with their enforcements that they act with entitlement same as the rich and political do… act first.. deal with consequences later.. have someone else pay for it while you get a slap on the wrist. I'm sorry but It's their job to hold themselves accountable, and if they can't, there should be a motion to make sure they're held to the "calls of duty". I think many departments fail at this.
