A 16-year-old girl was brutally murdered in an “execution-style killing” just a short drive away from her Kentucky high school on June 21. Authorities allege Gaymee Paw’s ex-boyfriend, whose name was not released, shot her once in the head near a park in broad daylight. In Owensboro we have a man who murdered his mother with a baseball bat, hid the murder weapon and tried to escape across state lines. He served less than 14 years for that crime. Now he walks around with swastikas tatted on his face and uploads threatening messages to his facebook all the time. Justice is never served in Owensboro, Ky.
I live in Owensboro. Unfortunately, our city only slaps the wrists of these killers. He will be back out in the street in no time.
