Sixteen-year-old Karlie Gusé went out partying with her friends in 2018. When she arrived home, her parents noticed how disoriented she was due to drug use. Gusé admitted to her parents that she had been smoking and believed it was laced. When everyone went to bed that night, her family noticed she was missing from their Mono County home in the morning. Annie Elise 10 to Life breaks down the case of Karlie Gusé.

  1. My wild guess as is with most of these: wrong place, wrong people, wrong time.

She was high after getting laced drugs. Someone bad driving by pulled over to talk to her, noticed she was disoriented, and took her.

  2. Based on the wallpaper or painting.
    The synthoms.
    Sounds like a hallucinogenic agent.
    Magic mushroom (from Cow dung)
    Bufo Frog venom

  3. Everyone wants to ignore the obvious that this girl was going thru a serious mental breakdown and all you expert detectives as always just want to blame the parents. Clearly Melissa was trying to help her!

  4. Of course, all the genius online detectives will be blaming the stepmother and everyone else because maybe they sneezed during a video the wrong way. Insanity.

  6. What about that guy on his motorbike and the fact that he saw her he videotaped her on his phone or GoPro and he actually called 911 because he saw her after five years that she had been missing and it was her. Did anything come of that

  7. About Mr. Arpad Vass – he’s got quite a reputation for developing new ways of locating and identifying human remains. He testified in the Casey Anthony murder trial. He used his instruments to test air samples from the car trunk to try to prove that the child’s dead body had been there.

  8. Did Annie Elise agree to this airing? I had to do a double take! Thanks for giving her credit in the comment section. A disclaimer at the intro telling viewers to follower her channel is in the comments would have been even nicer 🧐.

I hope this brings her channel, and other True Crime Content Creators more followers & views in hopes, maybe, someone will recognize a Cold Case episode and help bring justice for victims of unsolved violent crimes. 🙏🏿

  9. look up on google- scat added to the missing persons forensic toolbox. Paul's dog hit on scat and bloody underwear after following a long blood trail in the desert. Mono county sent the scat to the wrong lab and now we will never know if it was related to Karlie. Dr. Arpad Vass determined the bones in the scat were human Caucasian. His work was accepted in the GA courts. Annie is the first youtuber to cover this information. People and Dr. Phil didn't cover this WHY?! Because the sheriff doesn't believe in the science smh. Its unfortunate.
