  1. But the guy was venting on his property not close to any officers until one officer approached him in the middle of their lawn. If he had stayed in the street none of this would have happened.

  2. Don't necessarily agree w/ how they acted but, I think the part people are failing to realize or understand that the woman was obviously frustrated for getting pulled over for what she deems a bullshit citation that is probably subjective to the officer, so much bs that they didn't even file the original citation/ticket for the stop in the first place. They was tired and let the police know they felt they were full of shit. For broke people a citation is a random ~$150 that they don't have so it's more fuel for frustration

  3. DUDE YOU DONT UNDERSTAND COPS THEY ESCALATED EVERYTHING BY BEING SO CLOSE THAT 500,000 SETTLEMENT WAS A ADMISSION OF GUILT AND U KNOW IT. U GAVE THE COUPLE AN F FOR STANDING UP FOR THEMSELVES THEY CAN TALK ALL THEY WANT ITS CALLED THE 1ST AMENDMENT DUH BRUH THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST VIDEO U HAVE ON UR CHANNEL YOU KNOW THEY WOULD HAVE LOST AT COURT THE COUPLE GETS A B FROM ME

  4. I think it was smart of the private investigator not to reveal his identity or the fact he was an investigator, if he did, that information would be in a police report and available to the individual he was investigating.

  5. This cracks me up because its just regular citizens who hate the cops. Just another day in the hood where cops are harassing people for dumb shit! Sorry you guys got hurt in the process. Its not the citizens fault either because people are fed up to the point of anger over any police contact.

  6. Oh my God so you're telling me all I need to do to get a half-a-million dollars is act like a total piece of garbage? Those two should have been beaten so much more. All they did was take em to the ground. I never root for the cops but I'm going to make an exception in this case. Two of the worst human beings I've ever seen

  7. 9:23 that one guy is just regurgitating the same nonsense. He isn’t making any points. He’s just posturing and barking. It’s racist somehow? Whatever. Victims are victims. Poor her…poor her…poor her. 10:49 old boy was just talking out his butt. Hers doesn’t even make sense. 11:19 ouch.
11:51 old boy shouldn’t be talking about discipline when he had zero discipline. He and his wife escalated.

  8. I normally like your channel but I feel you have missed the mark here. At a certain point citizens also have to take responsibility for their actions. Baring any additional evidence the officer acted properly and it appears more than likely the two citizens in this video would have resisted arrest to the point of hurting themselves. You are not entitled to restitution when your actions are the cause of your injuries and others acted properly. Further more, simply not engaging attention seeking actions (like someone being irate for the sake of being irate) is the best form of de-escalation.

  9. I guess the silver lining with this story is that even though they got $500k (probably closer to half that with attorney fees) they’re too stupid to invest it and probably have already blown it all

  10. To the tyrants in this video: You threw your law-enforcement careers and your freedom for assault against law-abiding citizens; discrimination against law-abiding citizens; illegal arrest of law-abiding citizens; filing false police reports; violation of civil and human rights; violation of police department policies, practices, and procedures; violation of city, state, and federal laws; and violation of the Constitution of the United States of America.

  11. 12:07 "Although this confrontation ultimately was physically…" No, sorry, that's the only thing that matters: the unrestrained use of excess force. If that happens, I don't care who was polite or not or politically correct or not.

  12. I disagree. The cops don't deserve an A- They could have explained why they were unwilling to back off when asked to do so multiple times. That started the escalation .Throwing both victims to the ground and causing such serious injuries over a minor traffic stop is criminal. They get an F. They used excessive force. All for a minor traffic violation.

  13. this is a wild one. Im sure this couple is happy for the payday, but nobody else should be celebrating this. this kind of settlement deligitimizes actual victims of police tyranny. just remember, the fight for the constitution is one of hearts and minds, not money.
