7. Americans watching this should notice that clarity of the audio in this recording. Notice the walls are covered with sound absorbing material to reduce echoes. The U.K. police have established uniform standards for tape recorders, microphones, and their placement. There's no point in presenting a recording to a jury if the audio quality is so poor that many jurors will have very reasonable doubts about what was being said.
